Dina Smith

I am a seasoned leader and executive coach with over 25 years of experience helping people and organizations excel. Leveraging real-world executive experience and deep expertise in developing leaders, I help my clients overcome challenges, leverage opportunities, and maximize their talents so they can create greater success for themselves and their teams. 


With experience across industries, and in major multi-nationals as well as smaller privately-owned companies, I work as a peer and partner to my clients as they take on big new challenges. Recent clients have included leaders at organizations such as Adobe, Goldman Sachs, Gilead, S&P Global, Gap, PwC, Dropbox, Stripe, and smaller high growth companies.   


 Having led at the executive level myself, I understand the intense demands and pressures leaders face. Prior to establishing my executive coaching practice, I served as EVP of a boutique private equity firm and affiliated international leasing company which grew sales 15x during my tenure. I previously led a large Account Management organization as well as four specialized professional services organizations for a leading digital marketing agency. Earlier in my career, I was a management consultant with PwC and led numerous teams and projects to implement large scale strategic change in organizations. 


A life-long learner, I hold an MBA from the University of Michigan; an MS in Organizational Psychology from Colorado State University; and multiple coaching and leadership assessment certifications. My insights on leadership have been published in top business magazines including Fast Company and Forbes.com as well as internationally distributed trade journals.


I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and coach individuals and teams both in person and via video conference. In my free time, you’ll find me spending time outdoors with my family and friends, reading, skiing, or training with my horse.
